I've had my '78 Silver Anniversary for 2 years now, and thinking about replacing the tires. It currently has Cooper Cobras on it now. I would like some feedback on which tires people have had good luck with. Thanks!!
For the street I use BFG Radial TA's (255/60R15) and they are great.. So far - I have 15k miles on them they still have over 70% tread left.... They also handle pretty good on dry and wet roads..

Just put new 255/60R15 Dunlops on mine and they seems to have really good grip, handle great and are very smooth compared to the old tires.
I liked the tread pattern better than the BFGs and they were only $62 per tire.
Go to the Tire Rack and order up your preferrred brand and have them mounted locally. If your not sure where to mount them, they also have a free locater with your zip code to tell you what shops they have worked with.
