Proper steps for sanding????
i just bought some fiberglass t-tops as i do not like the glass ones on my car...they are yellow so i need to prep them before i get them painted black...can someone advise me on the proper stages and grit of paper to use to sand them down....

I bought a used hood and scraped off the old paint down to the primer with a razor blade, this method is fast and clean. I plan to wet sand the old primer off with 600 grit and then follow the paint makers directions for the new primer and paint. :cheers:

How I sand my parts is I start with 150, then 280 and finish with 400. you should be able to prime or seal the tops then. If you prime them, then you can sand them with 600 wet. if ya dont then just seal and shoot on the color and clear coat them
