I got one of their engines and I'm very satisfied with it (see sig)... However - some forum members that bought engines from them had issues.. It looks like most of those issues were resolved by the builder :thumbs: :thumbs: :cheers: :cheers:
If I'd have to buy another engine - I'd still consider AR... You just can't beat their prices...

Yes, I agree. All I'm saying is instead of somebody buying a recon engine, I think it would be more cost-effective to buy a Goodwrench engine for damn near the same money. It really is a smashing deal!

Good price.. but only 250 HP..
This is true, but if you're on a budget, it's most likely cheaper to buy that engine (I believe it's at Jeg's for 1299), swap the cam and heads, add an intake and go. More than 250 hp easy, and it's hard to build a bottom end for less. I know a couple of shops here that are doing that.
