Custom plumbing, to be sure, but I really like the rare interior "chrome-delete" vent ball option :lolg: :lolg: :lolg:

It says the mileage: 1000, then he says, in the description, that it has 1000 miles since being rebuilt.

No belt on the compressor.
Somebody went to a lot of trouble to put the wrong compressor on the wrong side, rigged up six miles of a/c hose then forgot to put on the one part that gives it the possability of working.

For a L-82 I believe that it also has the wrong air cleaner and duct work on it. This one is so rare that even the General didn't build one this way :lolg: :lolg: :lolg: :lolg: :lolg: :lolg: :lolg:

Engine is probably out of a passenger car. My '77 El Camino looks like that with the compressor on the drivers side.

Read the title.
"L82 Rebuilt"
Please there is enough dirt in there for a 100,000 mile car.
1000 original miles...... I don't think so.

:iagree:
When my engine was rebuilt (3 years ago) it looked brand new and clean. It still looks that way today, with about 9000 miles on the rebuild. That engine doesn't look like it's ever been out of the car, certainly not recently.....
You'd think, being a car dealer, they would at least clean it up before putting it in the showroom and taking the pic's? Sheesh....and what's up with putting the compressor on the wrong side? How could anyone get that mixed up??

Re: Ultra Rare '77 On eBay... (68shark)
What amazes me is all the trouble with wiring, A/C plumbing, etc., to do this. Clearly shows "Bubba" is alive and well and sells on eBay.
Underneath the small group of photos next to the larger left front pic of the car, it says "1,000 ORIGINAL MILES"
eBay , Where Bubba Sells C3 Corvettes!!!

I have no doubt that the CARFAX check is free. It does not work for cars pre-1981. Sometimes you really wonder about some vendors....
