Default started fitting flares to the 73 today

well i started fitting the flares today,just to see how everything is gone to fit,at first i wasnt sure id like it but now i cant wait to finish it and get some wide meat under them.

dave ill be asking a few questions in the next day or so, so be ready and yes i already have ashtma so my lungs are all aready shot,i have a fresh air respirator i paint with.Or should i say i shouldnt be painting with -according to my doctor. :D

Pat,

Do you have any idea what a good body shop would charge to make those modifications and repaint the sections? And are there any kind of good instructions(videos) available to take on molding/fiberglassing in these flares? Obviously this is not something for a rookie to take on.

So.... are you now known as "Pat's Chop Shop"? :cheers:

i really wouldnt know prices,i ve been doing my own body work and glass work for myself and a few customers i do mechanic work for, 17 or so years.Pats chop shop i like that. :yesnod: im the type of guy that will just jump into it and learn if its something i dont know.truthfully id rather do fiberglass work then metal work anyday.Ill try and make a webpage up of every step i do.bgrice did you check out rollingthunders website for his flare install,very good work.

There's going to be some itching in your future!! :D But it's going to look so good! Dave's (Rolling Thunder's) webpages are very informative for anyone looking to do some fiber glass work.

Pat, I personally think flares are the best body mod you can do to a 'vette. I can't wait to see pics of it when your done and have some nice rubber to fill it in! :thumbs:

i decided on 15 x 10 rallys with 325/50/15 tires,i was gone to go with 17's but i like the older look better .
