Default Which carburator for ZZ4?

I know this has been asked a lot. I will be looking for a new carb and air cleaner for my ZZ4 this winter. The current carb is a Holley 5160 750cfm which acording to the formula is too much. I am on the lightest spring and the secondaries still do not open. The air cleaner looks cool but I would like something with more hood clearance and larger surface area. I have a manual transmission. This is for street use. I was thinking of a Holley 650 and thought I read in a recent post that a 670 street avenger is what Holley recommends. I would like to add headers at some point so that is a consideration as well. What make and model do you recommended for the ZZ4?

Crate Demon made specifically for the ZZ4. It is a modified 650 Speed Demon. You can choose vacuum or mechanical secondaries which every you prefer they make both versions.

I am running a Mechanical secondary with a 4-Speed Muncie. I have had vacuum secondaries before and with a manual the mechanicals are the way to go.

With vac sec you can run a bigger carb since it is little more forgiving than mech sec. Have you tried a lighter spring in the sec? I switch to the lightest spring with a 4150 vac sec 600 and was suprised at the diff, now I cannot feel the sec open that split sec after flooring it, it is just a smooth power that is stronger right from the get go. that being said I do like mech sec better, have a 750 dp too.
