I agree that can't be a legal auction. And 4 pictures of rottweilers to suade you into donating into that $25,000 fund for a $2,500 *dog*? I gotta admit though the engine has a BIG VAM and it has a PEARL PAINJOB. Pains me too to look at it. :nonod:
I saw "Spirit of 75" at Carlisle this year. Video taped it and man IT IS LOUD AS HELL... Sweet car... Honestly, I think all racing Corvettes are sweet. I agree this one needs "WORK" but the basic structure isn't bad.... JMHO :p:
There's not a thing wrong with customizing vettes whether it be total custom or a Greenwood modified one. Some of the best looking C-2's I've seen were customized. But, this one looks like they simply backed the vette underneath the skin.... screwed it down.... and put some sort of chicken wire to blend the bumpers in. It looks silly. I don't think this is what Greenwood thought of when advertising their products.
That thing almost makes ricers today look respectable. Yuck! I never could understand why anyone would take one of the nicest looking bodies ever to come out of Detroit and then CHANGE it. Some of us worry about our drag coefficient not being good enough by today's standards. But this thing must have a drag coefficient worse than a school bus!!! Man, it's disgusting!
I wonder what the reserve for it is. It's only got $100 so far! :lolg:
Mostly I'm just really put-off by that horrible red-colored overspray in the engine bay (I'd imagine that up close that paint job has more orange-peel than, well...umm... an orange?!?!)
And they could have cleaned up the interior a little. Man that's ratty, and is that a donut on the floor?
