Re: tires? (edxaide)
I'm running Pirelli Scorpion 255/60VR-15 tires on all four wheels. They handle so much better than the BF Goodrich wimpy SR's did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Scorpion is an SUV and light truck tire, but it has exactly the same diameter as the original tires did, so my speedometer is accurate.
I was tempted to put 275/50R-15 drag radials on the back though. But I'm going to try these first.

Re: tires? (edxaide)
I would have never thought I would like taller & thinner tires, but I like the 225/70R15's that are on my '71. The vette already sits low with the 454 in it and after putting the 255/60R15's from my '74 on it I switched back as it was difficult to even get in/out of the vette. And they really did not look as good since it left a fenderwell gap with the low profile. I personally think this vette looks great with taller tires.

255/60/R15s are what most have I believe.
Some people will do 265/50/R15s on front and 295/50R15s in the rear on stock rims.
Brent...
