I've had mine for 3 months and have put 1200 miles on it! This winter she comes apart for suspension/engine mods... maybe a 5spd too! :D

I've been averaging 15,000 to 20,000 a year but this year wont quite be there. It's been off the road for nearly 5 months getting the engine rebuilt and I'm rebuilding the suspension while I wait for the engine. I'll have to do a lot of driving to make up for lost time. It looks like I may do a 5000 mile trip with it before the end of the year.

For the first 7 years ~ 5000
For the last two < 1000 (that's what I voted)

Not as many fun driving miles, but it sure stays cleaner

1-2K I'd put on more if the weather were nicer for more than just four months and I didn't travel as much. :leaving:

I started the 20,000+ per year.

Bought my 82 with 57K on the ticker July 97.

It now has 188K 6 years later.

That's almost 22K per year.

Poor crossfire - you know, they say its not reliable. Huh! I am here to prove that wrong. Will cross 200K next spring. Since I have rebuilt virtually all the critical parts (except the basic crossfire - which has not needed anything except for the annual balancing, which I do for fun), I expect to see 300K.

BTW, has the original injectors.

I drove her 23,000 miles the first year, when I was single. Plus, that was as my SECOND vehicle. I'd drive my Pontiac to work, come home, and drive the 'vette around for hours.
Now, with a mortgage and a live-in girlfriend, I drive her only once in a while.
Which is fine, 'cause she's in pieces anyway.
