Default Almost stalls
Why would my engine almost stall when I come to a quick stop, versus runs just fine when I come to a slow stop?

Could be several things. Sounds like your vacuum check valve may be going bad. If that isn't it, it could be your carb, or your torque convertor. Start with the check valve.
