Body Emblems

Should the crossed flag and Stingray body emblems have a foam backing? My old ones are still presentable, but lack any kind of "buffer" between them and the new paint.

THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE A STICKY TAPE BACKING TO STICK ON THE CAR I THINK. Don't the flags have nuts behind them?

some good advice...get a small round file...and ground out the holes before installing all emblems...this gets all the excess paint off nicely. if you put the emblems on with all that excess paint, you could chip the paint and this could lead to cracks behind the emblems.
