Re: Something's wrong with this price (Cali,77,L-82)
Well, it doesn't have the original intake, carb, air cleaner, fan clutch, fan, valve covers, ignition shielding, or exhaust manifolds. Other than that, it could have the original block and heads which really constitute the biggest portion of #'s matching. Could be a decent deal if the car is solid.

Says car is in very good condition, but that doesn't necessarily mean the paint. It could be one of those "10 footer cars". A good paint job will cost you $3K to $5K.
That's a typical price for cars like that in WA, MT, OR, UT and ID. The funny thing is that you can probably talk the owner down another grand or two to pay for that new paint (if needed.)
My guess is that the owner would part with it for $14Kish. It looks pretty nice, just make sure there's no rust lurking in those frame rails!
By the way, if you're looking for a cheaper c3, I just bought a #s match (except carb) '74 LS4 454 4spd coupe. Very tight car, but I'm going to put a new rear spring on it. It's not a show car, but it's a great driver. Needs maybe three or four small things to be a daily driver (brakes are pulling, so I need to figure out the source, the dist tach gear needs replacing -- and that rear spring, which is on order.) Paint on hood is iffy in two sections and there's a parking lot ding in the front bumper.

Might have been inputted in incorrectly onto the website at first, have seen some prices on sites from time to time that make you go :skep: , both too high and too low. Still looks like a good price if all checks out.
Re: Something's wrong with this price (Cali,77,L-82)
$13.5 k is much more reasonable price and only about $2 k too much. That looks like about a $10-12K car to me, but closer inspection might push that up or down a couple of thousand.
