VetteBrakes O-ring Caliper question

VetteBrakes O-ring Caliper question
I just received a set of O-ring calipers from Vettebrakes. They have 2 bleeders on the rear and one plug where the third bleeder would go on the GM caliper. Am I to assume that only 2 bleeders are needed on thier rear caliper and should ignore the plug.

Did all the original calipers come with 3 bleeders? (Mine weren't original; they were VB&P rebuilds, and had 2 bleeders and 1 plug.)

I have always wondered why the plug/bleeder position pointing down is there. Maybe a design screwup?

Imagine the caliper on the right rear. Then imagine how you rotate it to put it on the left rear. Consider, when rotating it, where the caliper bolts are and the bleeder screws and the brake line hose. I think you will see how it all works.
