Cost to bore a block .030"
About how much would it cost to bore out a 454 by .030" ? Do they always use a torque plate?
Should I have them press in new freeze plugs or is that as easy as it looks?

MY LOCAL SHOPS CHARGE AROUND 150.00. And no all do not use torque plate, you must ask, dont forget to tell them what TYPE OF RINGS your using.Every ring style like Chrome moly rings require a different grit hone stone VERY Important!!! take your pistons with you to. :steering:
