I use Griot's Garage Best of Show Wax, Machine Polishes and Detailing Clay...I have used Mother's and Meguiars too. I think Meguiars is better wax for bad finishes (makes the most of bad paint,) but Griots is great for high quality paints.

Meguiar's Professional Line is about the best off the shelf cleaners and polishes out there. Even their waxes give a nice warm look. But if you want the paint to scream "Look at me!" I would have to go with Pinnacle Souveran or clearcote's Carnauba Moose for solid colors and S100 for metallics.
Mothers wheel cleaner is the best. I have found no better wax (And I have tried them all) than Zaino Brothers. At shows, I have people think my car has been clear coated. When I tell them it's straight urethane, they don't believe me.
I dont think its a topic of these vs those... its the best handfull to make the best system...
That said I like mequires wax, and the scratch remover/de-oxidizer... mothers makes some killer wheel/chrome polish. And binswinger makes the best spray on glass cleaner I've seen! Even I can clean a window an its at least better then when I started... which is unheard of!
Hi... I'm a windowphobic, I cant clean windows. :jester
Up untill about 6 weeks ago, I was a devoted Mequiars Gold user. I really thought is was impossable to get any better shine. I've read all the treads about Zaino for a long time and was very skeptical.
I bought the Zaino kit and spent about a day applying the different products. I am amazed at these products, simply unbelievable. I will never put wax on my car again.
Do yourself a big favor and try Zaino. I highly recommend their kit; use it according to the instructions. You will not be disapointed.
The cost of the kit was around $90, but 1 oz. will coat my vert. The shine is so much deeper than wax, the scratch filler is amazing. And best of all, all of these goes on and off soo easy.
Just to let you know, I am not associated with Zaino in any way, I am just very excited about their products and want to pass on the information.
Hubby was a Meguiers nut for YEARS...but got convince to give the Zaino a try.
Never looked back!!
That has to be the best stuff!! especially on BLACK !!!!
Yea it is pricey to get started with it..but once you do it..you will never use wax again!!!!
Used both brands over the years, this spring I tried Zaino on my friends recomendation, :yesnod: well that was end of using anything else, what a product! My vette has never looked better... :hurray: :hurray:
I really like Mother's products especially the wheel polish. I hear Zaino is the way to go though, and that has come from almost every car person I know.
