crane or comp cam??
hi guys. been looking through a few archived posts on comp cams and wiped lobes. havnt seen any with crane cams doing the same thing. the crane 272 is very close to the cc xe262, crane has a little more exhaust duration and a little less intake. i think the lobe separation is a little wider also. are these pretty comparable cams?? i dont know squat about ramps or any of that stuff, and was wondering if they would produce fairly close hp and torque numbers. i dont want to put a cam in this car and have to do it again in a couple months cuz of a wiped lobe , or for that matter any other reason. anyway , as soon as i get the rear gears done, the cam and heads go on, so thanks for some input here fellas. appreciate any knowledge you care to share. regards, fng
