Get an assembly manual.

Zip manual

This should work for you.

Don't even THINK about starting the frame off without an AIM!

There's also a book on Corvette Chassis Restoration by James Tripoli that's pretty good. The NCRS judging manual for your model year would be a good reference as well. I also refer to Chevy's Chassis Overhaul and Chassis Service Manuals quite a bit. Doing a frame off is a lot of work and a lot of money so make sure that you really think your car is worth going through the all effort.

Nolan Adams is a good source for Body Lifting, and Body Dolly plans. You can find his books and video tapes in catalogs such as Ecklers, Mid America, Corvette Central, etc...

Hehe. Yeah. I guess you won't be restoring too many different makes anytime soon. This stuff is not rocket science!

Don't worry about me restoring other makes. I've restored Camaros, Mustangs, and a Dodge Challenger all without the help of an AIM. Been doing it since I was sixteen. This Vette isn't my first restoration (but it is my first Vette restoration) and it won't be my last. Having the AIM sure helped avoid a lot of aggravation. As a '68 owner you oughta know that--or did you just BUY it like that? Not that there's anything wrong with that, but as a self proclaimed authority on rockets I wouldn't doubt it. Many other Forum members aren't rocket scientists either, so I'm sure the AIM would help them too.

Of course, if you're Bubba or you know it all, the AIM's not necessary, so I'll conceed that. I'll let you get back to working on your Saturn V (sans AIM) and we'll  in another life.

Sorry I mistook your AIM suggestion as good advice rather than just a random thought (more likely).
