I'm trying to open an e-mail w/ a zip document attachment everytime I try to open it all I get is computer language symbols... any idea how or where I should open it ... I'm wasting heartbeats trying :D
Thanks
Thats the problem it is sensitive, when I try to open it my e-mail will only allow me to save it to disk, then once it's saved, the file goes under a special program that I use, I know that this program works with compressed digital files but not w/ text,
thanks for any info spook
Re: OT I need help w/ zip attachment (HEARTBEATUSA)
So this is a proprietary zip format and encryption added to it? (not winzip or built in windows stuff)
Whats OS are you using?
What is the name of the program?
You may want to check the expected file size with the reported size and the actual size. You can do the later by right clicking and looking at the properties. The expected size would be something you need to know or get from the sender. If those dont jive then you can say that with pretty good certainty that the file is FUBAR.
