Default Radiator fluid disposal

I've read the jug, and there are no instructions to recycle it. What's appropriate?

And oddly enough, most auto parts stores won't take it either. The only place I've found so far that will "sometimes" take it is Wal-Mart's service center.

In California it’s called Integrated Waste Management Department for the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program. I’m sure Pittsburgh would have a bigg’in but maybe different name. If you need more help I’ll search the Web for you, just send me your zip code IM.
Most places just want a drivers ID to verify residency. We all need to step into 21st century and get used the environmental recycle habit. Shark owners too. You’ll feel better making the effort than pouring it down a drain or into the trash. But I do see some anti-freeze labeled as environmentally safe – contact manufacture. :hurray:

Almost all of the chain oil change places are doing radiator flushes and have large vats for the old stuff. Call some around you. I use Valvoline and they take it all.

The local dump takes my radiator fluid and pretty much every auto fluid.

Dispose of properly.... anti-freeze is toxic.
Many recycling centers and auto supply stores (such as Auto Zone) can
dispose of it.

It does a job on mice and other vermin. It tastes sweet and they lap it up like sugar water. Then they die! Which being disease carrying vermin they richly deserve.
Keep it away from your pets, they'll end up taking a dirt nap if they drink anything beyond a tiny amount.
