Default Help, need idenifying these parts!!!

Doing new carpet! The more I take off, the more I go onto "other things".

I guess we've all been there. So here I am, carpet install is going well. But "tweeking" stuff as I go along. (That's a suicide mission! LOL)

What are these items?

See pic.

-the alum looking finned thing, looks like some sort of radio amplifer
-the white looking relay or switch at the bottom of pic.
-the vacuum looking item at right side of pic, at r kick panel

All help will be sincerely appreciated!

Thanks,

Bill

Bill,

The first part is the radio amp
The second I'm not sure
The third is the vacuum canister that opens the vent

 I don’t know what year your shark is Bill but I’ll give your questions a try.
-the finned aluminum thing is yes an amplifier for your radio/speakers.
-the white relay is for your turn signals (I think or maybe emergency flashers) and I don’t know why they but it there.
-that vacuum looking item is a vacuum diaphragm that operates the kick panel vent with vacuum from your intake manifold literally sucking on the vacuum reservoir in front of the radiator and controlled by the console ventilation control. It should have a mechanical linkage to operate the vent. :yesnod:

The vacuum actuator can be tested by started the motor and sliding your heat A/C to eithe vent or A/C MAX. If its operational...you can watch the door open and close. The black hose is a vacuum hose and should be attached to the port on the actuator...can't tell if it is. If it's not...you've got a vacuum leak!
