I have a bottom of the line GM crate motor. My car was totaled shortly after I installed it. I would like put a better cam, coil and other performance parts on while the engine is out. I'm not looking for 1/4 mile speeds, just a little more power. I have an alum. high rise and a 4 barrel holly carb. I would also like the link to hooker headers and any other sites or faq, pages that might help. Thanks in advance.
I would just stick with an edelbrock #2101 intake if you do not plan on running anything more than a cam. Try the comp cams XE262.
I'd actually recommend changing the heads on the engine too. At least go w/ cast iron vortecs. I think the Trick Flows would be a GREAT budget upgrade. That would wake the motor up quite a lot.

They did a 7-8 part article series (the Goodwrench Quest) about adding go-fast parts to your GM350 along with a dyno check after each mod. That should give you a pretty good building-block blueprint (and $) for your upgrades.
