Good Buy or Not?
Around lunch time someone told me I had a mostly flat rt. front tire. I took it to a local tire repair place to have it fixed. While I was there, I spoted a Ralley Wheel center cap. When I asked how much, the guy working there dug out 4 center caps and went to ask the owner how much. The owner said $15. I asked if that was each or for the set. He said all 4. They are now in my car in a bag. Really dirty, with many years of crud on them, but I didn't see any really bad dents or anything.
Was this a good buy?

No, you've been suckered. I really feel sorry for you, so I'll send you $25 and you can ship them to me. That should get you back your $15 and pay for the postage. I hope this will make you feel better. :D

Thanks, this makes me feel good and bad. Good for the bargin, and bad for taking advantage of the seller....but, not real bad.
I guess this will be one of my son's christmas presents. I left him with 3 good top hats and one that is bent. Hey, if I bend 3 of these, he will have two matching sets, one good/one bent....no, to much work, he will just have to suffer. :D

The best thing to to is to seperate them and polish them. The stainless can be made to shine like chrome. I've taken the hat part and taped off the ribs and painted them. It's time consuming, but well worth the effort.
