Default Replacing antenna

I would like to replace the antenna on my 75. It is a fixed antenna and I would just like to replace the mast and mounting nut. Is it possible to do this from above without getting under the car? Is it as simple as removing the old parts and screwing on the new ones?

I think you have to reach up from the bottom of the car to unplug the wire connecting the antenna to the radio. From there, you just have to take out the old antenna and screw the new one back on. Then plug the wire from the radio back into the new antenna.

...what he said.

And, if you have big fat hands like mine, you end up taking out the muffler on the driver side just to be able to fit your meat hooks in there.
