Air Filter change Q's

Air Filter change Q's
I'm getting ready to change my stock air filter (78 -L48) to a solid round chrome filter. I have a few Q's of what to do with things.
1. what do you do with the flex pipe hole coming off the exhaust is there some kind of cap or what?
2. the vacuum line that goes into the back of the carb from the air filter
3. Need to knows as far as high, or low profile, choke clearance etc.
Anything else I'm missing on need to knows so it looks good and fits. :cheers:

L48 auto is the most common Pace Car as far as the best of my knowledge. the L82 4 speed is the rarest. This is all based from what I've been told. So this could be inaccurate. Thanks I'll some of the topics :cheers:
