Until today I only had the covers installed, but the mufflers went on this afternoon. It is no where near as loud as I had anticipated. There is a nice low rumble at idle and then so much fun going through the gears. At 75 mph, I can hear the radio just fine.
It was a job for the muffler guy since the car already had long-tube headers. He sorta did an "S Pipe" kind of thing. After everything was installed the pipes vibrated in the front because the only bracket was in the rear. So, he welded a fabricated bracket in the front and that solved the problem. BTW, the entire system is stainless steel.
I had worried they would be too loud, but they are not! It is so much fun to drive it now. :)
I guess mine are becuase my hearing is really sensitive or the aluminized mufflers/pipes are louder.
Anyhow - glad your happy.
Good luck and enjoy.

Bill: It could be the aluminzed vs stainless has something to do with our different experinces. I think your BB has a lot more to do with it than anything else. My SB is a mouse to your car. :) Mark
