What could be cuasing this hesitation?
This only happens at or near 3500 rpm and only heading up a hill. I replaced the carb with an edelbrock Q-jet replacement. That seemed to help a bit but now she runs a little ragged again. Biggest problem is the fact that i may hav a crack in the right side exhuast manifold. I have ordered a set of hedman ZZ4 headers but i dont know if the possible exhuast leak is the cuase. Bad fuel pump? worn plugs? adjust the timing? replace more fuel lines? orgood old fashioned tune up? Can an exhuast leak cuase hesitation? Maybe shes starved for fuel heading up those hills!?!?!

When did you last change your fuel filter? A filter starting to plug up would cause it to starve for fuel under heavy load. You didn;t mention if the problem occurs at 3500 rpm, but goes away after you pass that point in the rpm band or if it stops going any faster when you hit 3500 up hill.
