Best wheel bearing grease??
What's the best? Especially for the rear wheel bearings. I am in the process of rebuilding my T arms and rear wheel bearings. I have been using Vavolene Durablend for years. This is a blend of mineral and synthetic.
I want the right product. I DON"T WANT TO DO THIS again for a long, long time.
thanks
Mark
I just redid the front end of my 83 regal using lubrimatic high temp bearing grease. Although thats simply what I had around. I dont do these jobs often at all. I am interested in others responses as well... maybe Van Steel could give us some advice or what they use in thier shop! (Thats right I'm Calling you out buddy!!! hehe  )
I use Mobil 1 synthetic "red" grease for the front and rear bearings. I called Mobil and spoke to a tech engineer before using on the first rear bearings I rebuilt.

On the racecar, Mobile 1 and other synthetics (have tried 3), consistently lasts 3-5 weeks longer on a packing. Bearings last a full season with it, the standard would get repacked every other week, and bearings were replaced at 1/2 the season. Good luck.
valvoline makes a full synthetic wheel bearing grease. It's called synpower or something. I think it works really well, even though i'm not crazy about buying anything with valvoline printed on it.
I'd use mobil-1 synthetic grease, but i can only find it in tubes, which makes it pretty messy trying to pack bearings with.
