+12v under hood source?

+12v under hood source?
I'm getting ready to do some electrical trouble shooting under the hood of my newly acquired C3. With the battery at a remote location, where is the easiest "clip on" constant 12 volt source in the engine compartment of a C3?

The big red wire on nthe alternator is hot. The horn relay on the left fenderwell is hot. The power window circuit breaker on the firewall is switched hot. Be careful.

All wired in accessories should come off the horn relay, thats where the alt measures the voltage to regulate.
