Just bought an Antique.....
I just found an antique on-car spin balancer. It's a little rusty but it works. It is made by hunter engineering . The model (107-A) was introduced in 1946. The one I have says patent pending so it is an early version. How much sould I offer the guy for it. He gave it to me ... "clean it up, make me an offer". :cool:

No idea what it's worth, but that's cool, I haven't seen any one use a on the car balancer in years...That was the way to balance your tires... :thumbs:

If you want you tires balanced smotther than any computer balance, have 'em spun balanced on the car (if you can find a place that still does that in the get'em in and out as fast as possible world). Expensive but worth it. It balances the entire rotating assembly. It does take a little skill to use.

yes i had one about 10 years ago,sold it when i got out of the gas station/repair shop business.I got 250 for it,dont even remember how much i paid for it,but the guy came in and said ill give you 250.SOLD

I think he will take $20. what a deal...It's all there and now I have got it a freed up. Not quite perfect yet but I'll get there.
