I think a lot of my generation take for granted what those before us have done for our great country. Sure, we make some mistakes along the way but we do more for the world than any other country and we have many, many veterans to thank.

A salute to our Soldiers (Canadian and American) in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Serbia, Iraq and all the other parts of the world where free men and woman risk their lives for others in need and to perserve the freedoms our fathers and grandfathers fought and gave their lives for. I pray that my newly born daughter will never know the horrors ,tyranny and sadness that I have witnessed in my lifetime. And thanks to the brave men and women of our combined Armed Forces peace will prevail.
A special salute to my American friends who took the unpopular road to Iraq and did a job that had to be done.
