first i must say that i love my Steeroids and wouldnt be without it...
that being said, there IS just one thing that IMO that could be improved upon.
and its a very simple thing...
we all know that the pressure line needs to be stout and be able to handle lots of pressure...
but the return line...well, it dosnt...
the return line that comes in the Steeroids kit is hydraulic line...
very stout...very HARD...
so hard in fact that it takes 3 men and a boy just to slide it over the nipple on the power steering pump!
so hard, in fact that clamping it tight enough to NOT leak is a near impossibility...
now, dont get me wrong...it dosnt run or squirt out...
but yet it DOES dribble...getting everything around it messy...
its a simple matter of over kill...
well...i finally had enough and replaced it with a regular power steering return line...
now i have zero leakage...
has anyone else experienced this?
Sign, can't tell you about Steeroids, but on my install I used a cut off end piece from a stock hose, and run my own HYDRAULIC hose, NOT Gasoline hose, from the rack to the reservoir....two clamps and done....
