72 dash speakers
What are best speakers made that will fit the existing brackets in a 72 vette dash? Midamerica sells speakers by Kenwood, Pioneer and KHE that will fit the existing bracket. Any other choices? Are there any speakers in door panels of a 72?

I have 4x6 plate Infinity Kappas in the dash. I don't think there's any place in the doors but many have put them in the kick panel just in front of the doors. Do a search.

I put speakers in my kick panels of my '71 when redoing the carpet as I didn't want to mess with my dash. I didn't spend alot though as they are just 4x6's made by Audivox. They serve the purpose of distributing the music with the 6x9's in the back.

Before you buy, ask if they are direct fit. Some aren't. I forget what brand I bought from MidAmerica, but I had to custom make mountung brackets for them.
