Default Air conditioning rehab

I'm in the process of puchasing all the components to the air conditioning system for my 79. Do I have to be carfull to get parts for 134A refridgerant?I allready got the compressor that is 134 or r12 compatable. Is that the only part that has changes to it?

They also recommend changing the hoses. 134a has smaller molecules and will leak out of the r12 hoses.

Here are a couple of links to check out.

I'd certainly be interested in hearing about your end result with this, as I also have a '79, where someone removed the entire emissions and A/C systems, and I have plans to rebuild my A/C sometime soon, and so far I haven't for sure found that big hard line that runs along the pass. side, from the bottom of the condenser to the evaporator, my assembly manual calls it both an inlet tube, and outlet tube assy, so I'm quite confused. :(

If you can't find one, you can go to an auto a/c shop and they can fabricate one for you.
