Emblems
My car is going to the paint shop in less than two weeks. I was looking through an old Corvette Central Catalog this afternoon. Although my emblems are still in decent shape, I noticed they sell the front and gas door emblems and advertise them as "Improved Show Quality."
Does anyone know in what manner the emblems have been improved?

I replaced my front & gas cap emblems and although they appear to be of nice quality(& pricey) I don't see anything that different. The aluminum locks supplied with the front emblem and the 4-5-4 emblems(which I also bought) are worthless and I used my original ones. The gas cap emblem of course is threaded.

"improved" show quality? :skep: I've got no clue! I'm in need of some new emblems for my car and I haven't noticed anything that says that. Sounds like something that belongs on ebay with "rare" in front of it :D
