Default Anyone with Wide Body Kit experience

I am thinking of starting over with my vette. I have been looking into some wide body kits. Vanacor and AVI both have similar kits. They are both Turbo GT kits. I am going to be keeping the stock 80 vette nose, I may need to buy the one for the kit I am unsure at this time. Does anyone have any suggestions or things I should look out for. How difficult is it to install one of these kits? I was looking into just rear fender flares and a recessed headlight kit, But one of the fenders is getting some decent cracks back in it from an accident by the previous owner, the front bumper is getting some cracks and the one door needs the door lock hole fixed. I know fiberglass is known for getting cracks. Will it be worse with a wide body kit? Any help/info would be great. Thanks.

The only thing with the Duntov kit I don't like is the headlight setup.
