engine compartment light bulb mount on my 82
the rubber grommets that hold the light housing in my 1982 corvette are all worn out. every time i close the hood, the housing falls out. i checked ecklers and Mid America but i could not find them in thier catalogs. where else can i find these rubbers and new screws?

Try going to Ace Hardware. They have little rubber inserts that should fill the bill perfectly.

I believe those "well nuts" are still available from GM (part #14048060 $4.00 ea.)...1st try your local Lowes in the nuts/bolts section. I bought a pair a while ago for the exact same thing.
