Does anyone know of a high quality C3 restoration shop in NJ? I am trying to find a somewhat local shop to get my 68 Big Block restored. If you make a recommendation please let me know what your interaction has been with the shop, owners etc... Thanks
There's a shop on Long Island that is owned by Kevin McKay.
Don't know if this is the shop Redvetracr is refering to.
McKay is a big name in Corvette restoration.
I believe he has restored vettes for another big name in vettes,Chip Miller.
GQ82 only has McKay touching his '71.
Ask GQ82(Jerry) for info.
Be prepared to wait and spend the $$$.
Are you ready to spend anywhere from $50,000 to $85,000 that is the going price for a restore job. Oh don't forget to ask them to re-stamp all the numbers to make it a #matching vette when finished.
I live in Warren Township and just got mine done my Strictly Corvettes. They are near Trenton. 609-585-8770. Bob is the owner. Feel free to use my name - Dan Fulop - if you like......
If you want, you can come over to see my car and the job they did. (though i'd doing some work on the engine now.)
