Rear Bumper questons

Is it possible to fit a C4 rear bumper on a C3? I saw a pic on the net of a 76 with a 92 rear bumper on it, looke kinda cool. Do they bolt right up?
Also on my 76 the 82 style rear bumper has waves in the plastic on the top side, on the spoiler section. Is there a way of straightening this or smoothing it out? It is the poly bumper cover.

It is a custom back bumper, we have several folks here running them. I will look for links for you.

Here is one of the members cars. Check around series 10 and 11 for the before / after and install pics. Hope this is what you are looking for. There is also another member but I can't remember his name. Check sigs for a red vette with the ocean in the background.

the C4 type bumper you're referrring to is made by ACI and sold by Ecklers.

Gee, I wasn't crazy was I? I like the look, it's very different, I bought a 76 just to have fun with but like the 82 style best.
Anyone know how to get rid of the waves in the poly bumpers?
