Was doing a google search for info on EFI and gas tank mods, and came across this... Perhaps it is useful for someone...

That's strange, I deleted the /4688/ and hit enter, then went down to the article and clicked on it and it came up just fine and with the same address as the one you listed above, but when I click on the link above it doesn't work???? I don't get it. Nice article anyway...

The article is about identical to what the shop manual states. One thing though, there's an alternative to the angle drilling in the throttle bodies to get the idle stop screw plugs out. Just use a small angle drill to drill a hole in the cap and then use a punch or small pry to get it out. That way you won't molest the casting. Also, the synchro screw weld can easily be remnoved, just use a dremel or something similar to cut a small groove in the weld, then grab the collar on the synchro screw and carefully work it from side to side (may need some vice grips), the weld will break. Leaving the collar on makes the screw much easier to adjust, you can do it by hand. Without the collar you'll need a socket.
