Wiring issues

having trouble with my 69 vert.... reverse and dash lights are not working.... fuses ok...... bulbs ok...just got the car... any suggestions? :flag

Welcome to the forum :seeya

Dash lights, could be ground.

Reverse, check the switch to see if it is set right.(auto or 4 speed?)

car is 4 speed..... what switch?.... any idea where I would find the ground for the dash? :crazy:

There is a ground for the dash lights are on the back side of tach, the back of the center trim and the back of the center console. The switch has a rheostat built into it that could be broken causing them not to work. Check of power at one of the bulb sockets. The back-up lights have a ground wire attached to the back side and can be checked the same way.
