Sent to two different vendors for prices on weatherstrip kit for my 81.
The Last Detail wants 210.00 and 24.25 shipping to Canada.
Corvette Rubber wants 225.00 and 45.00 shipping to Canada.

Needless to say my money will be going to The Last Detail!!!!!!!
Anyone else had this problem with shipping gouging or just us Canadians?
Guess your voting with your wallet. My understanding from the few years I've been on the forum is that Corvette Rubber is the best there is, but last detail is also top notch. My local supplier (Corvette Express in Vacaville, CA) gets all their stuff mostly from Paragon for what appears to be minimal markup, and if it's bad (rarely) it's been no problem getting it right. Maybe someone will indicate what rubber should be avoided?
15 bucks on the same item is a bit off I agree ....But I know the Last Detail is cutting some good deals now...as far as shipping goes, being someone that sends alot of things out every week ...You have to take in consideration ...Is the higher price gonna be a better shipper ? Is the Cheap price gonna take a month to get here and if its damaged(I know its rubber, but it can happen) are they gonna do anything about it or are you gonna be screwed.
If the shipping was equal and the products are equal its pretty cut and dry ...buy from Last Detail ...pretty plain to me.
