Anybody have these sidepipes?
Anybody have these sidepipes installed on their vette? If so, do you have any pictures? If not, what do you think of em on an 81? I can't get a picture to post so here's the link: http://static.summitracing.com/globa.../pte-h1050.jpg

I had a set of these on a Camaro that I had. The heatshield started to rust after a year or two. I wasn't really impressed, but they weren't really expensive either. I could of taken more care of them too. I'm saving for the Hooker Sidepipes now.

I'm not sure how to post pics, but I'll try. I have the "Sideliner" version, which I believe is now DynoMax, and not the Patriot ones. With some patience, you can mount them slightly higher than the bottom of the rocker moulding, which looks much better. (Some trimming of moulding rqd.) I run these on my '75 with Thermo-Tech wrapped Hedman headers, into the S-pipe conversion kit. (Once you get everything lined up right, weld the hookup kit and get rid of the clamps. Hell, Jet-Hot it too!) I love the sound, and it seems to promote lots of torque.
