Well Curtis just an update on the 2nd season of your engine - still puts mega smiles on my face (as well as Anne's and the kids). It was in the 60's yesterday and went for a 150 mile top down cruise. On the way back averaged 90 mph, still getting great mileage and lots of oomph. Changed the Holley for an Edel 750, lost about 30 hp but am rebuilding that Holley this winter for the strip. Once again bud thank-you so much only upgrade I may do in a year or so might be the cam upgrade we talked about to put it over 500 hp.

I'm with you, :cheers: to Curtis!!!! He helped me so much with my engine and I am really happy with it!
I hope he is doing well, I havent heard from him in a long time.
gdh, tell us more about your engine, I would like to know how to get over 500hp with a 383!

for some reason that I cannot fathom now, I wanted to keep the hp below 500, and he designed to to just under that amount, concurred by Ganey. A relatively mild cam was put in so if I go more agressive on the cam and I have not really looked into anything seriously as of yet other than a 284 it'll put it over the top. Also running a single plenum intake, 10.5 compression and race ported Dart heads.
