78 glovebox lock Q
The lock on my glovebox is nonfunctional.
It's not secured (I figure I can fix with a couple of washers...to keep in door)
But the prob is that it's stuck in the open position. It will close, but just springs back open. I figure there must be a catch that's missing (but I don't see it), or the mechanism is intact, just not working properly.
Anybody know how the closing mechanism works?
