Well..the guy picked up my Vette on Sat...and a another guy came and got my bike on Sun... :( Luckily it was nice weather, so I got to drive the Vette topless one more time for about 45 min or so before letting her go. It ws a nice sunny afternoon, and she drove great, sounded great, and I received the usual thumbs up everywhere. I'd say, if I had to let her go, it was a nice last drive. :) I was sad to let her go.. but she has a good home with Dr.
The bike on the other hand... I really feel the loss... I loved that bike! :cry
But, I rarely got to ride it, and I was getting too comfortable doing tripple-digits...basically I was losing my fear of it... which is a sign it's time to get rid of it. Either I'd end up dead, or lose my drivers lic..
But now I have a new adrenaline toy... a 2004 Kawasaki 700 Prairie 4-wheeler.... It flat flys! Plus I can use it all year around, for play and working around the property! I even got a 60" snow plow for it!! :D
Anyway... Thanks for the fun while it lasted!
You guys have a great forum here, and I've recommended it for the new owner!!
Thats sweet, my cousin bought the 650 prairie when it came out. That thing is awesome only thing that sucks is the restrictor that keeps you from going past 62mph, be sure to remove that ;)
That is one big 4 wheeler. I had no idea that they made them that big. Almost like having a BB.
Yea, this thing has the best of both worlds... you can do wheelies, and power slide it like a sport quad, and still get nasty in the mud or trails! :reddevil From what I'm reading on the ATV forums.. the 700 is highly detuned from the factory .... so I can play with it for more ummmph! I'd highly recommend the P700!!
Man it must have been hard to part with Vette!!!! I can't imagine selling my cars, but I guess some day,the time will come(when I'm dead and buried). Enjoy the bike
