What happeed to all those folks that bought the STEERIODS KIT? Well guys......what happened?
Did you buy it with the last group purchase. If so RE read the posts, Speed Direct said they had only a few complete kits in stock right now and would need some time to fabricate the parts.
That being said, I was one of the first to order in this GP and it was at my house in a week(including border crossing which is usually 1-2 days in itself).
:iagree: For the price, I'm willing to wait a couple of weeks. Big deal.
Help us out here, GForce. You ask a lot of questions about Steeroids, but you're not telling us whether or not you've bought (or want to buy) the system. The point of the forum is to SHARE ideas and information, not to ask sharp questions and expect responses in defense of a product or service :grouphug:

I have owed a 1971, War bonnet yellow 454 Corvette since 1987.
Before that I was driving various muscle cars (1970 &1971JUDGE GTOs, 1970 NOVA SS396, ETC since I earned my regular drivers license in 1971.
In my trials and tribulations of using after market products, many have worked very well, for a time at least. Some have been less than a positive experience.
Before I hand over my cash for something I have not seen or had any contact with that can cause me and My Corvette bodily harm should it fail under use, I will ask those "sharp questions". If you feel that you need not be bothered with such details, that is your privilege. Should this forum become a politically correct party where those questions are not welcome, then it will become irrelevant to more than just this corvette enthusiast with a hunger for the best and safest Corvette consumer products available.

Thanks for input on this interesting product. I am fascinated to hear about your experiences with this equipment. Did you install it yourself? Do you feel a more on center feel with it as your driving at higher speed as opposed to the traditional steering wander of a stock Corvette? (It’s seems worse with a Big Block between the front fenders) Don’t get me wrong, I love my Corvette! It’s just that after driving a Honda all week, high speeds in a Big block Corvette on the interstate is scary because of that trade mark steering wander! I was contemplating getting a C5 for this very reason. I won't if I can eliminate this problem. Yes the C5 is all that, but I had a dream when I was 16 and in 1987 I brought her home in the form of a 1971 454 coupe with 69k original miles. Today she has 89k original miles.
"LIVIN THE DREAM" :)
Had the rack sitting in my house for about a year now waiting for me to get to the suspension rebuild AFTER I settle on a motor set up. :) Only complaint I have read so far is that it is too light in the feel for some, not enough road feed back and Speed direct is/was working on some type of mod to restrict fluid flow to improve that.
