1979 Air Conditioning
My 1979 Vette has a bad A/C pressure switch (jumpered out and everything works fine, the switch is located at the high side service fitting on the passenger side. Is this the high pressure cut out, low pressure cut out or cycling switch. It seems to cross to a Factory Air part number 35757, but want to be sure before I order the part. Also does anyone have block diagram showing the A/C system/components for this year, haven't been able to find one.

It is most likely a "loss of charge" switch (closes on pressure rise). I would try these people first to be sure, they might have the exact replacement. http://www.oldairproducts.com/catalog/main_default.php
