Corvette driveshaft
Does anyone know if the corvette driveshaft, on automatic cars, is any different than the drive shaft on other chevy cars (other than length)? I need to get a new one, and am wondering if I can just have one from some other chevy shortened and balanced.

Our stock driveshaft is about 2.25 inches. After destroying 2 of them I upgraded to a 3 inch but it required cleaning up the area around the front yoke, This involved a little grinding of the fiberglass on a seam in this area. Really quite easy but now a 3 inch tube fits.
