82 vette rear window defrost switch
I think the switch for the rear window defrost is bad. I'm having difficulty finding a replacement. Does anyone have any experience troubleshooting the problem first. And second, does anyone know of a source for the switch if it is bad?

The only places I can think of for replacement parts would be the Dr. Rebuild. or another C3 member had Greg's Corvette's ....But I can't find the link to his site...

There is also a timer which is operated by the switch to drop out supply to the rear demister after a set time,you should check that out as well.

Thanks for the help..I tested the switch and timer and everything was fine. Looks like the connection in the fuse panel is bad. It must have overheated and I see some minor melting in the connector area. I rewired from the battery and everything now seems OK
