73...still has the crome bumper rear and was the first year for raised hood profile with functional cowl induction. Sure the 73 was not the most powerfull year in stock trim, but how many of us actually leave our engines as stock? Not many.

I couldnt afford the bumpers, but theres nothing like crusing with the top down in a Corvette rodster :cool: my 75 original L48 is just fine for me. soon to be upgraded to performance suspension, then ZZ-4 and 4spd auto. WooHoo, save the wave..... :steering:
Gotta be a chrome bumper with a Muncie! Big block or small block? Dosen't matter; they are both great engines with promise of huge power in your vette. :D
No doubt about it. A 69 427 is my dream. I plan on finishing the restoration of my 72, then sell it along with the 77 to buy a 69-72 big block. Steel Cities Gray will be the color.
